Forget Prime Day, eBay is Giving Buyers 20% Off 20 Brands

By Tom Pritchard on at

For the rest of today and tomorrow Amazon is offering discounts on a bunch of things that you may or may not have an interest in. The thing about Prime Day is that all the discounts have been decided for you ahead of time, so if there's nothing you want there's nothing to buy. eBay has something else, and for most of this week is offering customers 20 per cent off their order - provided they order from the right brand.

20 brands are involved in the promotion, and you need to buy directly from them if you want to qualify for the discount. You also need to add the PLAY20 discount code before you complete the checkout process, or no discount for you. Other rules include a £10 minimum spend, a maximum saving of £100, and the fact that it all ends at 23:59 on Thursday night. The brands involved include the likes of Google, Samsung, BEO Play, and non tech companies like AO, Littlewoods, and so on. Here's the full list:

There isn't much to it than that, but obviously it depends on each brand selling something you actually want. At least the discount is available for everything they sell, rather than a pink microwave nobody in their right mind would want.
