How to Watch Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 Launch Event This Afternoon

By Tom Pritchard on at

Today is the day we finally get to see the Galaxy Note 9. Officially, anyway, because all the details have already leaked three or four times over. The company has already confirmed the Galaxy S9 range suffered from lacklustre sales, so there's a lot riding on the Note 9 to try and dazzle people. Even though everything points to us getting something very similar to the S9+.

While we here at Giz UK will be bringing you all the news straight out of the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York, some of you might want to tune in for yourself and watch the announcements live. The good news is that you can, and unlike an Apple event there are no restrictions on what devices you can use. The announcement will be livestreamed via YouTube, and you can watch via the Galaxy Unpacked website, the company's official YouTube channel, or right here in this embedded YouTube video.

The Galaxy Unpacked event is due to start at 11am in New York, which works out as 4pm here in the UK. There's no word on how long it'll go on for, but with devices like the Galaxy Watch and Bixby speaker rumoured to be involved it's not likely to be over quickly.
