On Monday, a Blu-ray box set of the three Avengers films releases. Featuring The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers: Infinity War, it's a nice little box set. However, an eagle-eyed Reddit user has spotted something a little awry with its box design: it's wrong. It's all very wrong.
Now, I'm not a massive Marvel fan, so the error went over my head and I spent several minutes staring intently at it before resorting to asking a colleague and doing a bit of Googling. If you're more familiar with the franchise you might not need it pointed out for you (like I did), but in case you do: the large 'A' logos for The Avengers and Avengers: Infinity War are the wrong way round. The first film should have the more metallic-looking 'A', and Infinity War should have the one that's glowing with a purple tinge. Whoops.
It turns out this isn't the first time an error has been printed on Avengers cover art either. The standalone release of the first film showed Tony Stark in his Iron Man get-up... but he was missing an arc reactor from his chest. Even I managed to spot that one. Sort yourselves out, Marvel!
If you feel like picking up a misprinted Avengers box set, it'll be available from Monday priced £29.99. You never know, it might be a misprinted collectible one day. I doubt it, but you never know. [Screenrant]
