Announced yesterday, the successor to the iPhone X is just around the corner. The iPhone XS, and its bigger brother, the iPhone XS Max, will be available from next Friday, 21st September. Pre-orders start for the handsets tomorrow, 14th September. The cheaper new iPhone, the iPhone XR, will be available on 26th October, with pre-orders starting on the 19th. But some UK networks are letting customers pre-register their interest right now.
Unfortunately no networks have provided any pricing details for the iPhone XS and XS Max just yet. But considering they will retail starting at £1,000, expect to pay a pretty hefty monthly sum or a big fee upfront. We'll have more information about individual network pricing once it's available. But for now, here's what we do know.
iPhone XS on Vodafone
The iPhone XS, XS Max and XR will be available on Vodafone's Red Entertainment plans. That means with your monthly plan, you'll also get a choice of Amazon Prime Video, Spotify Premium, Sky Sports Mobile TV or Now TV Entertainment.
You can pre-register your interest in a new iPhone on the Vodafone website, which means you'll be notified as soon as pre-orders are available. Registering also enters you into a competition to win a handset, so it's probably worth doing just for that. Providing you don't mind handing over your email and phone number to Vodafone, of course.
iPhone XS on Virgin
Virgin hasn't offered customers the opportunity to pre-register, but it has confirmed that the iPhone XS and XS Max will be available to pre-order on 14th September. You can find out more information here.
iPhone XS on Sky Mobile
Sky Mobile has also confirmed that it will offer the full range of new iPhones, which will be available for pre-order on Friday. The iPhone XS and XS Max will bea vailable on the Swap12 and Swap24 plans. Like Vodafone, Sky Mobile is offering the opportunity for customers to pre-register their interest, which you can do here.
iPhone XS on Three
Three will be stocking the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR on launch day, and it has also confirmed that all colours (Gold, Space Grey, Silver) and all memory size variants (64GB, 256GB, 512GB) will be available, too. Although detailed tariff information is not available, the network has confirmed that its perks, including Go Roam, Go Binge and Wuntu – exclusive customer rewards and deals – will be available to new iPhone customers.
If you're interested in an iPhone XS with Three, you can pre-register your interest here.
iPhone XS on O2
Like Three, O2 has also made it clear that it will be stocking all colour and memory size variants of the iPhone XS and XS Max. No details of plans have been provided yet, but you can register for updates by filling in the form here.
iPhone XS on EE
Naturally, EE has also confirmed that it will be stocking each of the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR. Once again, no further tariff or monthly plan information has been provided just yet, but if EE's the network of your choice, you can register on the website in order to be notified once pre-orders are available.
iPhone XS on BT Mobile
BT has confirmed that it will have the iPhone XS and XS Max available for pre-order on Friday, with pre-orders for the iPhone XR following on 19th October. You can register for more information from BT on their website.
