Hungry gamers queuing for the midnight release of Red Dead Redemption 2 can quell the hunger pains with direct delivery to their place in the queue, courtesy of Deliveroo.
If you're buying from GAME, you can order food from restaurants near the branch and Deliveroo will bring it to your queue location.
Even better, if you happen to be buying from the Soho, London branch of GAME on Wardour Street, the food delivery company will be bringing free KFC your way. The freebies will be available from around 11.30pm, with the game going on sale at 12.
Queue delivery is part of an expanded delivery service offered by the app in its ongoing battle to defeat UberEats. You can apparently not have your food "delivered to not just queues, but beaches, boats and parks simply with the click of a button."
Considering how long it takes Deliveroo drivers to find our numbered front doors, though, we're not hugely confident they'll be able to track us down in a park without the use of an emergency flare.
Deliveroo's Joe Groves comments:
"At Deliveroo we’ve delivered millions of meals to hungry Brits. We’re sticking to what we know best, Delivering amazing food and we’ll let GAME deliver the awesome games."
The company recently offered the same service to people queuing for the iPhone XS, although we wouldn't be thrilled if our first touch of a brand new smartphone included a load of chicken-y finger grease.
