How to Watch the OnePlus 6T Launch Event Without Actually Being There

By Tom Pritchard on at

Today is the day OnePlus unveils the OnePlus 6T to the world, even though we've probably already seen everything there is to know about the phone thanks to an extensive series of leaks. We're a day early than originally planned, which is all Apple's fault, though it does mean good things for the impatient OnePlus fans.

The phone itself is set to be unveiled at a special launch event in New York, though you can still tune in from home thanks to the power of livestreaming. Everything kicks off at 3pm this afternoon, which is 11am New York Time. Apparently the American clocks don't go back until this weekend, so they're only four hours behind us.

As is the usual way with non-Apple events, OnePlus are streaming the event to YouTube, which you can watch on the site itself or in the embed below.

That's all there is to it. No need to have a special device or browser, or murder a sacrificial lamb (or vegan equivalent), to tune in. We'll also have all the news as and when it happens, so make sure to keep an eye on the Giz UK homepage.

The OnePlus 6T itself will arrive on 6th November via many retailers, including Amazon. Alternatively you can head down to a special pop-up in London on Wednesday to pick one up in person.
