If you're single, living in capital, and looking to find "the one", you may have come across CLiKD, a London-based dating app. It tries to separate itself from the crowd by offering a more "creative" experience than other dating apps, allowing users to answer photo-based questions to find the love of their life.
Since Halloween is coming up at the end of this month, the app is going all-out scary by adding some Halloween-themed questions into the mix - like "would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf?". I mean, what better way to really get to know your potential future lover by knowing whether they'd rather suck your blood or rip their claws into you?
The app will also ask you questions about clowns and other potentially hair-raising things in order to match you with someone who has similar views about the spooky holiday. It's a bit of fun at least, and sounds more entertaining than merely swiping left or right on somebody's face.
Apparently Halloween is a good time to meet someone, too, because we all dress up as scary things to disguise our actual selves and it makes everything a bit less awkward and nerve-wracking. Or that's at least what CLiKD's founder wants us all to believe, anyway. It sounds logical enough. And on the bright side, restaurant reservations around Halloween will be much easier to make than at Valentines. So there's at least that.
