Xiaomi is here in the UK, and it really wants you to buy its stuff. Obviously, because getting people into its ecosystem is how it makes most of its money. So to try and get its phones into the hands of the people, and drum up some publicity, it's launched some flash sales that have a range of phones available for just £1.
Specifically the Mi A2 and Mi 8 Lite are the ones going for the obscenely low price. The first sale, with the black Mi 8 Lite, has already sold out, but there are more coming. The first wave of Mi A2 Lites will go on sale at 8pm tonight, with a second wave coming at 8pm tomorrow. The last batch of Mi 8 Lites (in that bluey/purple shade) go on sale at noon tomorrow. If you want to get your hands on one you should get there early, because £1 smartphones are going to sell out pretty quickly.
Xiaomi will also be activating a £20 voucher at noon tomorrow, letting you get money off any sale over £99. Plenty of other devices are available at full price including the Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 Lite, Pocophone F1, Mi A2, Mi A2 Lite, Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 Note Pro, Redmi Note 5, and Redmi S2. The Band 3 fitness tracker is also there, but since it only costs £20 it won't be eligible for a price drop.
