Deliveroo Is Giving Out A Shedload Of Halo Top Ice Cream In January

By Holly Brockwell on at

Halo Top ice cream is a bit of a sensation in America, not least because of this freaky-deaky ad that has been haunting our dreams ever since it went viral:

The high-protein, low-calorie ice cream brand is now available on these shores, and if you haven't tried it yet, there'll be freebies this month courtesy of Deliveroo.

They'll be delivering 20,000 free tubs of ice cream to customers in London and Brighton (sorry, everywhere else). The ice cream is free with any order placed with Deliveroo Editions, which is their restaurant service that tries to fill gaps in the local food delivery market. No, we'd never heard of it either.

The free tubs will be available from the 16th to the 31st of January, while stocks last – so when those 20k tubs are gone, you're just getting your takeaway. Poor you.

However, there will also be 5,000 tubs of Halo Top handed out at London train stations – from the 21st to the 25th of January, the freebies will be at either Euston or Clapham Junction from 6pm.

Each tub is between 280 and 360 calories, so you can still feel decently virtuous when eating the entire thing. That's the serving size, right?
