Samsung Officially Confirms the Galaxy S10 Will Launch on 20th February

By Tom Pritchard on at

We've heard rumours from all over the place claiming that Samsung would be announcing the Galaxy S10 on 20th February - a whole 5 days before the start of Mobile World Congress that usually hosts this event. Now Samsung has confirmed those rumours, announcing that the new phone range will be unveiled at 7pm UK time.

The invite doesn't confirm anything about what we're going to see on the day, simply saying that the event is called Galaxy Unpacked 2019. It's obviously going to be where we hear about all three rumoured Galaxy S10 phones, and not just because of the giant number 10 on the invitation. Plus Samsung has already confirmed it would share more information about the foldable Galaxy X/F/Flex at the next unpacked.

So that's something to look forward to, though the amount of information available isn't clear. Hopefully there's a lot, since we know the thing will now be arriving in the first half of this year and Samsung is running out of time to tell us more.
