Gwyneth Paltrow's 'Goop' Is Getting A Netflix Series

By Holly Brockwell on at

Apparently, there's no end to the audience for Gwyneth Paltrow's vagina-egg-peddling, lawsuit-settling women's "health" brand, Goop.

In addition to raising a tonne of money in funding and invading London with a pop-up shop, Goop has now decided to ruin Netflix for everybody.

The 'Worst Pseudoscience Of The Year'-winning brand has a 'documentary' series on the way to the platform, on the topic of 'physical and spiritual wellness.' Dear lord.

The series will consist of 30-minute episodes and will launch this Autumn. Some of the episodes will be presented by Paltrow herself, while some will be by her minions Goop editors.

Not for internal use

Whether the infamous yoni eggs and sex dust smoothies will get their own episodes remains to be seen.

We've no doubt the series will be a success, like every other facet of Goop, which seems unstoppable even in the face of embarrassing legal settlements and smack-downs from NASA.

Hopefully Netflix will take its own advice and Marie-Kondo the series out of existence. Pseudoscience does not spark joy, it sparks yeast infections. [Engadget]
