McLaren has just taken the wraps off its brand new 2013-season F1 car, the MP4-28. It's a beauty, but will it win races? Both Jenson Button and McLaren's new-kid-on-the-block Sergio Perez seem to think so. Read More >>

One of the key drivers behind the Raspberry Pi project has said there won't be any new spec Pi hardware this year, as he doesn't want to abandon current users and make them feel like they've already been gazumped by newer models. What an amazing rarity in the tech world. Read More >>

What better way to start the year than to make predictions – some obvious, some not so obvious – as to what trends will become more widely used in the design community. Each year seems to bring new ideas to the community and once they gain enough traction, they eventually become the norm (we're looking at you, "pull to refresh"). Read More >>

Sometimes I think Dubai exists in its very own dimension, an alternative over-the-top world where everything has to be the best of the best. No one said auctioning-off spectrum for the rollout of 4G in the UK would be simple, but it’s getting pretty damn complicated that’s for sure. We’ve already heard that Everything Everywhere could bog it all down with litigation should it be in-the-clear for its 1800MHz 3G to 4G switch. Now Three, Britain’s smallest network, is frightened it’s going to get squeezed-out of the better 800MHz band, and so is threatening legal action of its own should Ofcom not do something more to help it out.
