Are you one of the many poor unfortunates who got an HMV gift card for Christmas? If it was bought from Tesco or Asda, you're in luck -- the two mammoth chains will accept 'em in-store. To the supermarkets! Read More >>

Tesco has recently launched a 25p energy drink that can't possibly be worse than anything it currently stocks on its shelves. Hailing from Poland and dubbed N-Gine Blue, it even sounds pretty vile, but hey, cheaper Jägerbombs are better for everyone, right? Read More >>

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner (it’s the 14th of February for those that need reminding), but we’re on the peak of a double-dip recession. ASDA's flogging off a HDTV for just £50 from Boxing Day in-store and online. OK, it's not a looker and it's only 15.6" at 720p; but you weren't expecting 1080p for 50-quid right? Read More >>
We saw the Kobo Wi-Fi launch with WH Smith in the UK, but now ASDA has taken the fight to Amazon's Kindle, at least on price. At £67 the Kobo Wi-Fi is £12 cheaper than Amazon's Kindle, although it's both heavier and of questionably lower quality. But if you're looking for a cheap E-Ink-packing reader for Christmas, at £67 you won't find much better for less -- in-store and online come Friday. Read More >>
