BlackBerry's either extremely confident about its forthcoming Q10's chances of success or desperate to pull in any money while it can, with the new QWERTY BB10 model now up for pre-order in the UK at the astonishing price of £579. That's a super-high price usually reserved for established smartphone kings Samsung and Apple. An audacious move by BlackBerry, or commercial death-wish madness? Read More >>

BlackBerry's just released its latest set of financial figures for the last year, showing it sold roughly six million smartphones and "approximately" one million BB10 devices. BlackBerry boss Thorsten Heins is already bigging up the smartphone company's next new thing, claiming there's some super-secret "new product" he's really excited about. But obviously he'd rather lots of people bought the Z10 before he tells us any more about it. Read More >>

The new BlackBerry ecosystem has might have failed a government security test, meaning it is, for now, unlikely to win itself any large-scale government orders. George Osborne's going to have to carry on using his insecure ASDA Alcatel for the time being. Read More >>
Owners of the new BB10 phones are going to have to look elsewhere for a means of capturing, editing and distributing photographs of their duck wraps and Thai chilli fish cakes, as sources claim Instagram is currently steering clear of the new OS and not working on a custom native app. Read More >>
BlackBerry's Super Bowl ad from last night was... uh... interesting as you can see above. The company claimed that in 30 seconds, it was easier to show us what BB10 couldn't do — which is perhaps some of the laziest marketing ever. Read More >>
If there was one word to sum up general opinion on the BlackBerry 10 launch, it would be 'meh'. There's a feeling that it's too little, too late. But we've been here before -- back in 2009, with Palm, and it seems that BlackBerry's going the same way. Read More >>
Last night BlackBerry demoed what it's calling BlackBerry Balance, a clever way of separating one's personal and work lives in one device. You don't see it as much these days but carrying two phones — one for business, one for pleasure — was commonplace not too long ago. I remember having a BlackBerry 6200 alongside my Sidekick 2; and I'm sure a lot of you remember those days as well. Read More >>

It's a phone any company would be proud to call a flagship. In fact, its only downside is that it's totally irrelevant. Whoops! Read More >>
