Facebook Home isn't a Facebook Phone, nor is it really "a bunch of apps," or a new operating system. It's an admission: Facebook means a lot to me, and is an interesting view of my life — and I want to look at it all the time, everywhere I go. If that sounds like you, Home is where your heart should be. If not, your phone will become something you hate. Read More >>

Facebook Home, the social network's new user interface for Android, won't be available for download until April 12th. Even when it hits the Google Play Store, Home will only run on seven phones, one of which is the newly-released HTC First that has it preloaded. Fortunately, you can get a more immersive Facebook experience on your Android phone today with these apps. Read More >>
There's going to be one big difference between the downloaded Facebook Home and the one that arrives pre-loaded on the HTC First -- Notifications. The HTC First eats them all up and spews them out in the Facebook Home style, but the downloadable launcher for other phones can't intercept the standard Android news updates. Read More >>

So Facebook Home is coming to Android phones. But just the good Android phones. The HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, and Note II, with the new HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 joining later, plus the HTC First of course. That's it, that's the list. If your phone is more than a year old, no Facebook Home for you. And that's how it has to be, really. Read More >>
One of the centrepieces of Facebook's new interface are "chat heads," Facebook's vision for the way that we should do messaging. Sounds fun! But what are they, exactly? And will they really change how we communicate? Read More >>
The HTC First is a new smartphone that's deeply integrated with Facebook Home. The Android phone runs on a modified version of Jelly Bean and it's the only phone to come pre-loaded with Facebook Home. Read More >>

Are you super psyched by having Facebook basically take over your Android phone? Are you itching to replace that stock launcher with Facebook Home, straight from the great Zuckerberg's hand? Luckily for you, you'll be able to download that sucker on 'select Android phones' straight through Google Play from April 12th, so not long to wait. Read More >>
Facebook's got a new phone. And a new home screen. They're going to be fine, probably...more or less. But you are also probably half-snoozing now, because the idea of a Facebook phone bores you, deeply. Maybe it shouldn't, though -- in a perfect world, there's a compelling case for a true blue Facebook phone. Read More >>
It would appear that Facebook is about to announce a very comprehensive new Android skin at tonight's event, with leaked images showing what appears to be a simplified Android OS with the social network's status sharing bar whacked atop Google's usual applications menu. Read More >>
The WSJ is reporting that Facebook's upcoming Android event will be a home screen—as in the first screen you see when you flip on your phone—dedicated to Facebook. It will "display content from users' Facebook accounts on a smartphone's home screen." Read More >>
Next week, Facebook is going to show us its "new home on Android." What does that mean? We're not sure—we could be days away from The Facebook Phone, or just a lovely new life-consuming app. But here are our best bets for what Zuck has up his Androidy sleeves. Read More >>
Facebook just invited the press to an event at Facebook HQ that'll show off Facebook's "new home on Android". Is this the much talked about (and denied) Facebook phone? Will Facebook be using the Android OS to build a layer of Facebook on top of? HMM. Or is this just some new version of the Android Facebook app? We'll find out on April 4th. Read More >>

People. This is it. Facebook has something to show us, on January 15th no less. "Come and see what we're building" says the invite. What could it be? The fabled, practically-vapourware Facebook phone? Maybe a Facebook tablet? Or in fact, Facebook could have a new cyborg plug-in for your brain, so you can instantly over-share literally everything, including pure thought. Amazing! Read More >>
