Samsung has issued a slightly vague response to that kicking it took on the BBC's Watchdog last night (above), claiming it's the "innovative and unique features" that hoover up so much of the phone's internal storage space. However, it is looking at, perhaps, optimising things to free up a few more bytes for use. Read More >>

The newest, shiniest Androids you can buy will now run Facebook Home. Whether you actually want to is another question, but Zuckerberg and co are working hard on it. Soon it'll get an app dock and a new Dash Bar to make starting chats quicker, plus it might jump from home screen replacement to home screen layer, which'll be slightly less intrusive. Amazing, I'm sure. [TechCrunch] Read More >>

The alleged phone shrinks the S4's screen size to 4.3" but adds a 16-Megapixel sensor around the back by way of compensation. It's less of a phone than the Galaxy S4 and less of a camera than the Galaxy Camera. Is it therefore a phone too far for our Korean Android overlords? [SamMobile] Read More >>

Samsung has a Gangnam Style parody called Samsung Style. It's sung by an Indian guy called Ranveer Singh, who is apparently a Bollywood actor. It involves bad puns about 13 megapixel cameras. In the song-and-dance of the Galaxy S4 launch, there was one thing missing: the usual earnest industrial-designer-circlejerk where they try and explain software features using phrases like 'life companion' and 'intuitive' and 'meaningful end-user usage'. Well, that 'wrong' has been put 'right' in this 4-minute video from Samsung, where it rams the intuitiveness down your throat until it's red-raw from all the nature-inspired design and rounded edges.
