Google has a new streaming music product, and that's all good and well, but it's only available in the US. We can't let the Yanks have all the fun, though, so here's how to suckle on the sweet, musical breast of Google from a UK IP address. Read More >>

A former Google UK salesman claims to have a massive stash of around 100,000 emails sent and received during his time at the company, which supposedly prove the tech giant has been fiddling its tax returns to artificially lower its stated UK earnings. Read More >>

So, Google's new Hangouts app keeps all of your chats in sync across all of your devices. Cool, right? But what if you're in a video call on your phone, and then open the same video call on your computer. Boop! Suddenly there's two of you, as I just discovered when chatting with my friend Bay. What with Google I/O being this week, there are naturally some wonderful additions to Android's app family from the mothership herself. But that doesn't mean third party developers have just been sitting around twiddling their thumbs—this week's set of apps has offerings from everyone. Read More >>
Remember last year's I/O keynote and all the skydiving and bike riding shenanigans Google pulled? That was fun! Not to mention the big reveal: Google Glass. But if you managed to stay awake during I/O's opening four-hour keynote, you probably noticed that Glass was noticeably absent. What's up with that? Read More >>

We already knew Google's got big plans to become your default money manager, killing the other contenders in the process. But now we're starting to find out just how deep the rabbit hole goes. Over the next few months, Google will be rolling out a Gmail option to attach money just like you would with any ol' file. Read More >>

I'm not sure if it's actually better looking in white or not, but apparently Android and Me has one physically in hand. The white Nexus 4 is supposedly a carbon-copy of the black version we know and love, just with a white body and Android 4.3 (no LTE mentioned). Take with a pinch of sodium chloride for now, but surely everyone who's likely to want a Nexus 4 has already bought one? [Android and Me] Read More >>

Wearing Google Glass might make you look weird but it's certainly a lot better than any of the prototypes that Google first tried out. Google Project Glass Staff Hardware Engineer Jean Wang showed off a slide revealing the earliest prototypes of Glass and they're a lot bulkier with open ribbons, chips, gigantic cameras and more. You'd look like a total robot wearing these. Read More >>

Larry Page, Google's CEO and co-founder, closed out the Google I/O keynote last night with a sentimental, almost subdued speech. He didn't sound like a CEO. He sounded like a guy in charge of a company he genuinely thought could change the world. And it was a wonderful reminder that Google used to be, can be, and in many ways still is, so much more than a company. Read More >>

Part of the Google I/Oonslaught yesterday was an update to Google Play Books for both Android and iOS. In and of itself it's not exactly ground-breaking, but Google'll now let you read books uploaded to your Google Drive (through Google Books), which means cloud-syncing for your own, erm, acquired books.
