Sometimes the simplest things are the most useful, but rarely something makes me shake my head at how clever and cool it is like the Pocket Tripod 360º has. I keep thinking "why didn't someone do this before" and "what a great idea that I wish I'd thought of." I'm still blown away that the angle is adjustable like that. Read More >>

It's that time of the year again, where Apple's next iPhone is probably being built in factories all over China, resulting in random parts being spat out onto the Internets. Today we have both a screen and logic board supposedly from the incoming iPhone 5S or whatever it ends up being called. Read More >>

It was a huge week for Apple—especially anything software related. While we'll have to wait and see how the fruits of WWDC's labour turn out, there's plenty of other app makers out there still churning away. And as you can see in this week's set of apps, they've got some good stuff. Read More >>

A lot has happened since 2007. Just look at how much the iPhone home screen has changed. Or how little? Back in the days of the first iPhone (it wasn't even called iOS yet), we couldn't get third party apps or even move apps around. Now, we have a bigger screen and all these funktastic icons. Here's an under-reported feature of iOS 7: you can finally zoom in while video recording now. It seems like it could get a little choppy, as you have to pinch to zoom while already recording video but from the looks of the video above shot by 9to5Mac, the results are pretty seamless. Read More >>

You can have every last note-taking, scrapbooking, idea-saving app installed on your iPhone 5, but it still won't replace the usefulness of always having a pen and paper handy. And ensuring that at least half of that duo is readily available, the Idealnotes are soft-covered Moleskine knock-offs designed to live with your iPhone 5 in perfect harmony. Read More >>

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) doesn't kick off until 6pm tonight, but the internet's been wildly speculating about the company's plans for months. Some of it is almost definite (hello, flat design) and some of it's absurd (stop it with this). Here are all the goodies we actually expect Tim Cook and his funky bunch to throw at us later today. Whether or not we can really afford to, it's hard to start slacking off a bit once the warm weather rolls around. And the bounty of apps making the process that much easier certainly doesn't help. We can't help but love them anyways, though. This week's app selection is full of goodies to take the pressure off slacking off. Read More >>
