Nokia's just unveiled the Lumia 925, and while you might have thought it's just a UK version of the Lumia 928 that our US cousins are getting, it's so much more. Gone is the all-plastic traditional Lumia, subsumed by a much more refined feeling metal-polycarbonate mix. This thing looks and feels great. Read More >>

Nokia's just taken the wraps off its latest flagship Windows Phone. We've heard rumours of a PureView-packing beast, but confirming yesterday's leak it's the Lumia 925, an updated, metal-clad version of the Lumia 920, and it sure is a looker. Read More >>
Well what do we have here then? Are we finally going to get that 'EOS' Windows Phone PureView Lumia Nokia's been promising for ages? Maybe an aluminium-clad Lumia 920? Who knows. Nokia's invited us all to "see what's next" in London on May 14th, so I guess we'll find out then. May sure is going to be one busy month. [AllthingsD via TechRadar] Read More >>

Along with a couple of low-end phones we won't bore you about, Nokia showed off the Lumia 520 and 720 at MWC today. That smaller-numbered device is actually Nokia's cheapest Windows Phone 8 offering, with the 720 being slightly higher up on the food chain, somewhere between the 620 and 820. Read More >>

A long time ago, phones did actually come in colours other than black. Was it the advent of the smartphone, and the two-year contract, which made manufacturers (and we, the people who don't want to be lumbered with a novelty red phone) lose its edge when it came to colour? While black is accessible, simple and goes with almost everything, black however is...also pretty boring. Read More >>
There's a hilarious image floating around the Internet today about how Apple, the flag bearer of "don't you dare steal my design lest you owe me a bill", copied Nokia's Lumia with the iPod Nano. Just take a look at the image above! The iPod Nano on the right has the same rounded edges, same organically slapped on screen and same wacky colors as the Lumia on the left! Read More >>

According to a Financial Times article today, Nokia's looking to pinch a page from Apple's iPhone marketing book, for the launch of its first Windows Phone 8 Lumia later this year. Let me be clear: exclusive deals with networks may seem like a good idea to manufacturers (and especially networks), but for a platform still suffering from uptake issues, this would be akin to Nokia shooting off its pinky-toe with a rifle. Nokia. Nokia, Nokia. You were doing things well. You made a smartphone that was well received, and looked nothing like an iPhone. People liked it. People are buying it. And then you created a video parody of Rack City. Nokia... Read More >>
Thought the Lumia 710 was aimed at the shallower-pocketed amongst us? The Lumia 610 goes even further in bringing the price down, with Nokia itself saying it's for the "younger audience." Calling it "confident," with "generous curves," I was scratching my head waiting for Nokia to introduce Christina Hendricks to the stage instead. Alas... Read More >>
