Jumping on the tail-end of the bandwagon, Panasonic's rolling out a new and improved Smart TV hub. The features list is certainly comprehensive, but a disturbing number of the things it's crowing about are totally and utterly pointless. Screw that, they're just plain stupid. Read More >>

Back at CES, Panasonic unleashed its gargantuan 4K tablet on the world, but like many wonderful CES concepts, there was no word if it would actually go on sale. Even though it's more like the sort of tablet you tend to find commandments written on, Panasonic's given the project the green light, and it'll be landing -- with a hefty thump -- late this year. Like most journalists everywhere, I am hungover. I am sat in the basement of a hotel on the outskirts of Munich; the sort of hotel that must have sprung up fully-formed overnight, a massive swelling of glittering commerce emerging from the abandoned building sites and car parks and motorways that ring the city. I am here for the launch of a new tablet. Panasonic are launching a new tablet computer for the business market. I am not a tech journalist. I have never done this before. I don’t know what’s going on. Read More >>
The pixels on Panasonic's new 20-inch 4K tablet are so itty bitty that I couldn't even see them when I pressed my eye almost to the tablet's touch screen. In case you haven't picked up on it by now: Anything goes at CES. But at least this collaboration between Technics and custom bike builder Roland Sands is easy on the eyes and ears. Inspired by the Technics DH1-1200 and SL-1200MK2 turntables, Sands reworked a Harley Davidson Iron 883 and I'd say he nailed it. I don't like Harleys at all but I am a fan of Sands, so I'd be down with this ride. And if you're wondering who that Billy Ray Cyrus-lookalike in the video is, it's Andy Bell of Nitro Circus fame.
