According to RIM, proud Playbook owners (the ones who haven't flogged their devices on eBay, that is) will be getting a BB10 update at some point in the future. Who knows, this might actually make it a viable tablet. Read More >>

Wait a minute, RIM's still making these things? And it's just released a new, 3G-packing version? Yep, and it only comes as a 32GB variant costing £346 plus VAT. Ouch. Who in their right mind would buy one? [RIM via Crackberry] Read More >>
Remember when 3D television sets first hit the shops? They all cost about ten gasquilion quids and the glasses cost as much again and you had to get a permit from the council because of the carbon monoxide that they gave off and you could only switch them on for three hours a day? About two years ago wasn't it? Read More >>

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but RIM’s new BlackBerry Mini Keyboard looks more like a crappy Chinese iPad-keyboard case than Asus Transformer-eque; copied in idea-only then. Still, it does turn the PlayBook into a mini-laptop of sorts, especially when coupled with Citrix receiver, which will shove a window to Windows onto your RIM tablet. Read More >>
