Look, here's a tip: if you don't like the Oatmeal, keep it to yourself. If you really do have to write an article personally attacking the author though, make sure you research the hell out of it. Or this will happen.Read More >>

Well, this is getting a little confusing. Oatmeal Studios, who's suing the Oatmeal we know and love, has responded. It says it's drawn up the lawsuit to protect its name, and to defend against one of the world's largest greeting card companies. The Oatmeal's just got caught in the crossfire. Read More >>

After finally getting rid of all that FunnyJunk mess, Matthew Inman's Oatmeal has found itself right in the middle of yet another lawsuit, this time all over a name and some greeting cards. Yep, that's right, cards. Read More >>

The Oatmeal just keeps getting more brilliant. After finding a talent for raising money for good causes, Matthew Inman took to saving Nikola Tesla's original lab, turning it into a goddamn museum. I'd say that's pretty freaking awesome, and considering it's already rocketed past its £540,000 target in just a few days, loads of others think so too. Read More >>
We're fans of The Oatmeal and their funny hijinks, but funny is not all they do. Site creator Matthew Inman also has a bit of philanthropy up his sleeve too, and he fancies saving the Tesla Tower to turn it into a goddamn museum. Well? Read More >>

The Oatmeal's Bearlove Good, Cancer Bad initiative has certainly ruffled some feathers. It seems Charles Carreon, FunnyJunk's lawyer, really didn't like Inman's reaction to his letter. He's up and sued the Oatmeal, and this time it's personal. Read More >>

The Oatmeal, the awesome web comic by Matthew Inman we all know and love, is being sued. The funny thing is that Inman reckons the site suing him, FunkyJunk, is actually a prolific thief of his work. This is his epic response. Read More >>

Kickstarter is a great idea to crowd source small, actually useful projects, but it’s become a bit like a digital begging ground of late. Instead of signs on the street saying “will work for food”, these days its as if you’ve got the online homeless holding signs with “will kickstart for six figures” printed on them. Pay people oodles of money for some crummy idea that’ll never work anyway – that’s progress. Read More >>

There’s a heck of a lot of social media crap out there, especially from so-called "strategists" and “experts”. But the secret to getting more likes on Facebook is simple; just write an epic love story containing cage-fighting nuns and tanks, of course. Read More >>
Why’s it so freaking difficult to legally get the content you want? The Oatmeal explains with this spot-on portrayal of an attempt to stay legal and buy access to a show, rather than just taking the easy route and pirating the damn thing. But you know what -- it’s just not possible and it's bloody infuriating. And they wonder why people still pirate stuff. Read More >>
