Trolls are the worst, but funny trolls are shake-your-head enjoyable. You can't help but appreciate their mastery of their craft. Textastrophe is the perfect example of that. He texts people who leave their numbers in public and weaves an epic conversation that makes clowns, bouncy castle renters, movers and other poor innocent bystanders regret ever putting their number out. I love Internet commenters because they make me laugh. The good ones are so funny! And even when they're awful and mean-spirited and filled with hate, there's a certain humour that comes from that sort of silliness. But what if commenters actually got what they wish for in their comments? This comic hilariously explains that it wouldn't change a damn thing. [Funny or Die via Neatorama] Read More >>
Tonight is Samsung's big night! In less than an hour the company will begin the big event in New York at which it's expected to launch the Samsung Galaxy S IV. And wouldn't you know it, HTC, those trolls, are doling out hot chocolate to all the journalists freezing their butts off in the cold. Our very own Brent Rose was on hand to snap this photo outside Radio City Music Hall. Read More >>

VirnetX is not a company that, strictly speaking, makes things. It is, instead, a company that collects patents the way joyless millionaires collect hermetically sealed comic books: for profit. And while it just scored an impressive £230 million in a successful Apple lawsuit, it's not stopping there. It's out for a full-on iPhone, iPad, and Mac ban. Read More >>

Re-enforcing what quite a lot of people have been saying, a police chief from Cumbria has said that, no, we don't need new laws to tackle trolls and that more "common sense" is needed, as well as action from Twitter itself. Basically, it's Twitter's problem. Read More >>
We heard how Tom Daley got a load of abuse, then other Team GB members, but now we're hearing more and more about the abuse people get on Twitter. Next up is Blue Peter'sHelen Skelton, who's also doing some Olympic TV work; she's quit Twitter over some horrendous trolling, while Kirstie Allsopp has a fight on her hands too. Does this mark the beginnings of a celebrity Twitter mass walkout, and will that bring Twitter crashing down? Read More >>

Yes! Finally! We've won not one, but two whole gold medal events. But that's not all that's been happening in a day of Lolympics. Good ol'Boris, hilariously, got stuck hanging from a zip-line waving flags, while Beats actually managed to beat the Olympic brand police. Eight badminton players also got caught fixing matches and banned, and you can now see what could happen to your legs as a cyclist (it's not pretty). Read More >>
