Android users -- Sky does love you after all. It's just way-late to the mean-green-machine party. Sky Go is reportedly launching for Android in the UK 'in the coming months', after being a big hit on iOS and the desktop.
Considering one-quarter of the UK population now wields an Android phone, it's about time British companies starting stepping up their Android presence. Sky Go currently has 1.6 million Brits using the streaming service, which is bundled in with their satellite and broadband packages. It'll be interesting to see if that number spikes with the introduction of an Android option. Any Android-using Sky watchers among the Giz UK audience? [TechRadar]
