Lenovo's New Smart TV Already Has Ice Cream Sandwich

Lenovo's Android-powered K91 is, in their words, a "Smart TV" that runs Ice Cream Sandwich, the latest version of the OS. On top of running any Android 4.0-compatible app, Lenovo promises optimised apps, including 100 that are already preloaded. The only catch is that it's a China exclusive for now.

The comes in 55-inch or 42-inch sizes, is LED-backlit, 3D-ready, and has a 240 Hz mode. A 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor provides the horsepower for the software, and for those trying to make video calls from the living room, there's a five megapixel webcam built into the bezel.

For now we can only watch from afar in envy, but hopefully Lenovo will bring this beast (or something like it) over to our fair shores soon. [Lenovo]
