The first Sony-only smartphone, the Xperia S, has been priced and dated for the UK. It’ll arrive on these shores around the 5th of March, and will set you back from £429.99 SIM-free.
Of course those looking for it on a network plan might have to wait a little longer, but O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Three will all carry it, while the white version will be a Phones 4U exclusive.
Given it promises some pretty juicy specs, including a 4.3-inch 720p screen and 12MP camera, this might finally be one Sony phone to lust over. It's a shame it just comes packing Gingerbread, but if Sony manage to get an Ice Cream Sandwich update out the door soon -- it could have something worthy of your hard earned cash on its hands. [T3]
