In a landmark ruling by the English High Court, Facebook can now be used to serve notices and legal claims like injunctions, court orders and court summons within the UK. Now they'll be no where to hide.
This High Court gave the go-ahead for Facebook to be used in a commercial case, which sets a precedent at a high level after smaller courts have used Facebook and Twitter in the past.
Now if the court can’t find your physical address it’ll just hit you up on Facebook -- the next poke or friend request you get might come with a bit more than you bargained for. [The Telegraph]
