For the first time in a while, Three hasn’t topped the most complained-about league table – this quarter it’s Orange. According to Ofcom it’s all because people really didn’t appreciate getting their bills hiked-up without the option to quit.
Still, mobile networks are much less complained about than their fixed-line brothers. As the most complained about mobile network, excluding dongle-powered mobile broadband, Orange racked up just 0.17 complaints per 1,000 customers, with Three not far behind on 0.15 complaints per 1,000.
Apparently the best network to be on, at least by the number of complaints, is O2, with a piddling 0.02 complaints per 1,000. Honestly, whichever network gets 4G first in my area is going to get my custom, no matter how many complaints it racks up. [Ofcom]
