BBC Supercharges Its Mobile Site So You Can Watch the Euros In the Bog (Or On the Bus)

The BBC has iPlayer apps for both Android and iPhone, but now Auntie's new mobile site has just got a solid injection of streaming video, just in time for England's clash with Sweden tonight. Stream over 3G or Wi-Fi -- it's all good.

You can grab the streams via the desktop site, or the new mobile-optimised sport home page, with any Apple iOS 5 or Android 2.2+ device. The England game is at 7.45 tonight, so you'll probably (hopefully) be home or in the pub by then, but it'll be perfect for streaming the 5pm kick-offs while on the bus. If a game isn't on the BBC, you can also stream live through the ITV player app over 3G on the iPhone (sorry Android users), so that should have all bases covered for the Apple crowd at least. [BBC]
