We heard Amazon's biggest competitor in the US, Barnes & Noble, was firing a duo of ereaders onto our shores (hopefully bringing with them their bigger, Android-powered brother along too), but now we know where you can buy 'em. Right in good ol'John Lewis.
We still don't know how much the Nook Simple Touch and GlowLight will actually cost, nor when they'll be available, but we're promised more details in the autumn. OK, ereaders might not be too exciting these days, even if one of them has a fancy glowing light, but the promise of the Nook tablet, a Kindle Fire-like offering, is. The Nexus 7 needs some better competition in the cheap-but-absolutely-great Android tablet market, hopefully the Nook tablet will be it.
