With the iPhone 5 going on sale and iOS 6 out of the gate, tonnes of new iOS apps are getting updated and even more new titles are being released. Accordingly, we've got a some fresh ones for you—a navigation aid, drawing app, and more.


Garmin Navigon: Apple maps in iOS6 are god awful and they might get you lost or just completely misinterpret where you want to go. If you're looking for an alternative, Garmin just updated Navigon for the latest os, and in addition to transit directions and turn-by-turn navigation, it has a few things you might be longing for, like Street View and Google place listings. £34.99

Skitch: We're huge fans of Skitch here at Gizmodo—it's a simple, straightforward way to illustrate your photos with arrows, circles, lines, and text to demonstrate a point. And beyond that, it's fun! And now it works on your iPhone. Free

NASCAR: Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. NASCAR has started the engine on an official iPhone app. Inside you'll find live race radio, a calendar of events, and information on all your favourite drivers. £1.49

Just Sayin': This is a strange little app that comedian Ricky Gervais is behind. It lets you leave voice messages with text and photos to your Facebook and Twitter pages. Because sometimes sarcasm isn't properly conveyed unless you're speaking. Free
