The amazing flurry of leaks concerning Apple's planned smaller iPad model continues, with the latest set of spy shots giving us some specs on the power unit Apple's sticking into its 7" or 8" tablet.
The shots of the iPad Mini's battery, published by MacRumours, show it'll arrive with a 4490mAh unit rated for some 16.7 watt-hours of uptime. The 4" iPhone 5 is rated for 5.45 watt-hours, while the latest iPad manages some 42.5, sticking the iPad Mini's battery right about where you'd expect for a device of its screen size.
Good to know it'll be portable and won't require a permanent wired mains connection. We'll add that to the list of things we already know about it. [MacRumours]
