Supposedly real-world use analysis of a variety of Windows machines has declared that Apple's MacBook Pro is the best at running Microsoft's software without crashes and glitches. Which is embarrassing for everyone on numerous levels.
The testing methodology used by Soluto to compile the quality listings apparently analyses data from a sample of 150,000 computers, comparing boot times, crashes and hangs, background processes and more, to create its own proprietary performance index that compares the Windows experience across various hardware.
The massively expensive 13" MacBook Pro from 2012 came out first ahead of the Acer Aspire E1-571 in second place, a PC that costs one third as much as Apple's premium range. The sad and inevitable conclusion, should you believe it at all, is that if you want the best you'd better be prepared to spend an enormous amount of money for it. [Soluto via Apple Insider]
