Microsoft's Bing search engine is (a) still going and (b) about to launch its own crackdown on sick underage porn images, by kindly warning those searching for certain terms that what they're doing is wrong.
Microsoft's engine will check search terms against a database maintained by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), with a Bing notification telling users they're sickos and offering the option of visiting a counselling site instead of looking at the images they were trying to find should the images the terms pull up be deemed illegal.
We haven't checked it to see if it's live. Don't want to take that kind of risk. Anyone fancy checking it to see if it's live? [Guardian]
