Here's a Look at LG's Smart TV webOS Resurrection

Palm's webOS, once a dead-cert for smartphone OS supremacy, is tipped to be resurrected by LG at CES 2014 in a rather unlikely place -- a new line of the company's Smart TVs. And, thanks to Twitter leaker EvLeaks, we've got an early glimpse at what it will look like.

Eschewing the usual smartphone-like tile design that many Smart TV interfaces employ, the LG set instead seems to throw a line of webOS Cards along the bottom of the screen, housing the television's many different apps and functions. If the "press shot" above proves to be the real deal, LG seems to have at least secured Twitter, Facebook, Skype and YouTube apps for launch, while a vocal push from LG in support of the Enyo open-source Javascript development framework should ensure plenty more will be on the way.
