McDonald's May Extend Breakfast Hours to Cater for Erratic Yoof Eating Habits

Don't the kids of today know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Apparently not: "Millennial" youth eating habits are now making McDonald's consider extending its breakfast menu serving hours in order to fill young tummies with its fast food at a time that suits them.

Currently, Egg McMuffins and bacon rolls from McDonald's are only served until 10.30am, but this means that Maccy D is missing out on serving younger customers who are increasingly expecting breakfast bites further into the day.

"We know, as an example, that breakfast on the weekend cut off at 10:30 doesn't go very well," said Jeff Stratton, head of McDonald's USA. "Well we're just beginning... We're just taking a look at it."

In the past, limited kitchen space has been cited as the reason for McDonald's early breakfast schedule, though the fast-food giant has previously gone as far as to entertain the idea of a 24-hour breakfast menu. Either way, if you can stomach how they're made, there's always the McNuggets to chow down on, right? [Daily Mail]
