These Guys Made a £1.7 Million Lamborghini With Only £9,000 and a Volvo

If it looks like a Lamborghini, if it smells like a Lamborghini... it still might just be a Volvo. Yep, the £1.7 million supercar you're staring at above was made at home from guys at Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan using a thirty year old Volvo 740. The total money they spent to make a copy of the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento was around £9,000. Not a bad deal!

Here's what a Volvo 740 looks like after it's outfitted with specially designed metal, carbon steel and acrylic glass. English Russia says the wheels of the Volvo were replaced with wheels from a BMW X5 and that the guys spent a lot of time making drawings of it:

So, given, it's a little bit different. The whole process took three months to finish which is definitely a lot faster than saving up nearly 2 million pounds. One thing though: the car is just a mock-up model. It doesn't drive like a Lamborghini because it doesn't drive at all. Still, it's better to have a parked Lambo than no Lambo at all.
