Google's Nexus line may be the next to leap aboard the fingerprint sensor train, with a rumour claiming the Nexus 6 will be based around LG's forthcoming G3 model -- and that there'll be a fingerprint reader/viewer built into the hardware.
The rumour comes via Android Geeks, which has put its credibility on the line by suggesting that Google itself is conducting talks with "Asian fingerprint sensor suppliers" in order to let the next Nexus compete with Apple's Touch ID system; not that the lack of finger-reading abilities has had any impact on the immense popularity of the Nexus 5.
LG's expected to announced the LG G3 at the end of May. And if it does what it did with the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 in collaboration with Google, a quick rejig of the hardware could arrive as the Nexus 6 at the end of the year. [Android Geeks via Techradar]
