Apple's iTunes Pass service, an alternative to credit card and gift card transactions, has been launched in the UK and Europe after being trialled in Japan last week.
So what is iTunes Pass, and how does it work? Basically, once you've set up your iTunes Pass account you can take your device into any Apple store and they will add credit to your iTunes wallet there and then. So it's a bit like going into your friendly neighbourhood phone shop to add credit to your phone.
Seems like a bit of a hassle, but if you don't trust Apple with your credit card info, and you have some sort of aversion to gift cards, then this is ideal for you. [DigitalSpy]
