The next iPad will be available in the autumn and will have a new anti-reflection coating to make the display easier to read, according a new Bloomberg report.
The news agency claims that Apple's suppliers have already started putting together the new iPads. But manufacturing complications as a result of the anti-reflection coating are holding up the production of the full-sized tablet, says Bloomberg.
According to "people with knowledge of the matter", the next version of the full-sized 9.7-inch tablet will be released by the end of this quarter or early next. The new iPad Mini, however, will only be available by the end of the year — but hopefully in time for the holiday season. [Bloomberg]
