Sandwich Bags and Cling Film are Actually Being Used by Brits as Emergency Contraceptives

A survey into the sex lives of a group of 25-34 year old women has thrown up some odd findings when it comes to contraceptives, with nearly a quarter of respondents saying they'd heard of things like rubber gloves and cling film being used as contraceptives.

The survey of 1500 UK women only asked if they'd heard of the weird things being used to stop the magic happening, so there's clearly a bit of wiggle room in there for a few local urban myths about what happened in the Iceland car park last night to have influenced the results. [Metro]
