This is what people do in the US state of Minnesota in the middle of January: drill 30,000 holes on a lake for the largest ice-fishing contest in the world.

I'm not so surprised about the fact that there are 30,000 holes in that lake but about the fact that there's such a thing as an ice-fishing contest anywhere. Watch the drone footage:
