Congealed Blob of Churchill's Warrior Blood Goes up for Sale

By Gary Cutlack on at

Fancy owning a bit of a famous person? Sadly Bruce Forsyth is still using his chin, so you'll have to make do with this -- a small sample of Winston Churchill's blood.

Set to go up for auction at Dukes, the sample was taken in a hospital in the early 1960s. It's now just a solid, dried-up lump in the bottom of a jar, but still. When Putin invades, it could be used to clone a Churchill II for the inevitable WWIII. Might send that idea off to Hollywood.

The blood is expected to fetch up to £600 at auction. [NYT via The Register]
