EE 4G Speeds Hit 400Mbps in Hyper-Local London Trial

Mobile network EE would like us to think that we'll all be enjoying 400Mbps mobile connections at some point in the future, with a demo of Cat 9 LTE tech combining three LTE carriers to max out the airwaves in a small bit of London.

The 400Mbps party is just an advert, though. EE's 4G network is launching in Wembley next month, when customers should see real-world average speeds nearer to 150Mbps -- still more than enough to live-Tweet whatever sporting event is happening, compete with copyright-infringing video material.
