You've a cupboard full of half-finished spirits, and a fridge full of fruit juice dregs. If only there was a web based search engine that could quickly teach you what cocktails those ingredients could make...
Mind readers (or, at least, data miners) Google to the rescue! It's today announced a new addition to its Knowledge Graph search results, bringing cocktail recipe cards to its listings.
Each card will describe the main alcohol needed to concoct the tipple, along with garnishes and appropriate glassware. Though the data is mostly pulled in from publically-created sources like Wikipedia, it's vetted before inclusion into Google's Knowledge Graph. So there's no chance of getting a Bloody Mary that's one part goat's blood to one part bleach. [@Google}
