There is no additional massive payday for Jeff Bridges on the horizon at the moment, with sources claiming Disney's binned the concept of a third Tron film.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, director Joseph Kosinski was to be the boss of the cameras and the positioning of the green screens, with Tron: Legacy stars Olivia Wilde and Garrett Hedlund the people in costumes he'd be pointing them at. It's not going to happen any more, say sources, who suggest the film will not be going into production this autumn as previously thought.
The film was apparently never officially greenlit by studio bosses, although the HR's source says development of a third Tron had been underway in some form or another since Legacy appeared in 2010. [Hollywood Reporter via NME]
