A video appearing to show off a shrunken version of the iPhone is making the rounds and adding fuel to the iPhone 6C/iPhone 5e fire. It’s being reported that somebody with Foxconn connections shot the 40-second clip, which involves a solitary hand fondling the handset, but sadly not switching it on.
Assuming the person behind the video isn’t simply a large-handed bloke playing with a regular iPhone 6 or iPhone 6S and poking fun at us all, the iPhone 6C (or iPhone 5e, whatever) will look very similar to Apple’s current flagship. The handset appears to be metallic, featuring a Touch ID button, a drilled speaker port and those familiar curved edges and antenna lines.
Previous gossip suggests that Tim Cook will unveil the (still unconfirmed) mini iPhone in March, and that it will feature an Apple A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner, an 8-megapixel camera, NFC and a 1,642 mAh battery. Renders also suggest it will come in a wider variety of colour options, including blue and hot pink. [PhoneArena]
