Apple's Getting More Time to Fight Against iPhone Unlocking

By Jamie Condliffe on at

Apple will have a little longer to argue against the court ruling that asks it to unlock an iPhone, according to Bloomberg.

The company will now respond to the request on February 26th February rather than Tuesday 23rd, say sources familiar with the timings of the court procedures. Originally the company was given five days, as of February 16th, to prepare its response.

It’s not clear if the extra time is a result of internal court delays or the reaction to the request.
