Mark it in your diary, or calendar, or whatever. At last, Hello Games has confirmed that No Man’s Sky will land on June 21st.
Our mates over at Kotaku UK have already taken the space exploration number for a spin, and it sounds every bit as weird and wonderful as we were hoping it would be. As well as dinosaurs and birds and fish-things, there's loads of different alien races to interact with, so be prepared to learn a new language or two. Crash-landing on planets is only part of the fun (and fun it is). You also need to plunder, build and figure out how the hell to survive.
“I can’t really imagine what it will feel like to walk into a shop and see our game on a shelf,” wrote Hello Games managing director Sean Murray on the PlayStation blog. “No Man’s Sky will launch as a complete game in June, but there’s a lot we’d like to add post-launch, if we can. Thank you, as always, for everyone’s support and patience as we head towards the home straight. We can’t wait for everyone to start their own adventures!” [PlayStation, Kotaku UK]
