Here's the New Team GB Olympics Kit - What Do You Think of It?

By Aatif Sulleyman on at

Tom Daley will officially wear as little as possible at the 2016 Olympic Games. Team GB’s new kits, designed by Adidas and Stella McCartney, have just been unveiled and I they look pretty good. In general, anyway.

A lot of thought has clearly gone into the design. Daley’s belt thing will surely bring in thousands of viewers who’ll simply be hoping that they slip off at some point, while Jessica Ennis-Hill says her kit will adapt to all weather. Pretty crucial, as Brazil’s climate can be rather unpredictable. We’re not yet sure how it’ll adapt though. Will a hood spring out of the neckline? Will a sudden wave of cold weather trigger thick socks into growing around your feet? So many questions.

It's also said to be 10% lighter than the last Team GB kit, which was famously hefty, and is apparently made of a breathable synthetic fibre, which your skin should be really hyped about.

There’s more red trim now than there was back in 2012, which is definitely a good thing, but the in-your-face new crest is sure to prove divisive. Each top and tracksuit is emblazoned with a coat of arms depicting a lion holding the Olympic torch, while stood at the top of a podium. Quite the talented animal. We're definitely not sold on the tracksuit though, which looks a bit pyjama-like.
